Xin (Henry) Zhang

Xin (Henry) Zhang is a Professor in the Department of Statistics at Florida State University. He received his B.S. degree in Applied Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2008, and his Ph.D. degree in Statistics from the University of Minnesota in 2014.

His current research interests include tensor analysis, multivariate and computational statistics, medical imaging, dimension reduction and envelope models. He received the Outstanding Young Researcher Award from the International Chinese Statistical Association in 2020 and the 2021 Developing Scholar Award at FSU. He is currently serving as Associate Editor for the Journal of the American Statistical Association (Theory and Methods), Biometrics, and Statistica Sinica. He also serves as President of the Florida Chapter of the American Statistical Association (2025–2027).
